Exam Information

Exam style — School’s own exam.

Exam types:

  • English

  • Maths

Exam length — 2x 1 hour exams.

Pass mark —  There is no fixed pass mark for the exam however there are approximately only 140 places available for Year 7 on a yearly basis.

Other exam information:

  • There is a registration fee of £150 which is non-refundable.

  • An interview and school reference along with the entrance examinations are all considered.

  • The entrance examinations include a non-calculator maths paper and a reading and writing English paper.

  • Entrance exams take place in January of the year of entry.

  • Offer emails are released in February.
