Exam Information

Exam style — School’s own exam.

Exam types:

  • Mathematics

  • English

  • Non-Verbal Reasoning

Exam length — Unknown.

Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the admissions test.

Other exam and entry information: 

  • Applications must be submitted by the November of year 6, along with a non-refundable fee of £150.

  • The assessment exams take place in the December of year 6.

  • Highgate School will request a reference from the applicant's current school headteacher. 

  • Applicants will be invited back after writing the assessment for a group interview with a senior staff member and participating in a taster day.
