Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam.
Exam types:
English
Maths
Exam length — 1x 40 minute English paper + 1x 30 minute English paper + 1x 40 minute maths paper.
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exam.
Other exam information:
Entrance exams include mathematics, essay writing, comprehension and reasoning.
The English exam is broken down into 2 papers:
Paper 1: Comprehension
Paper 2: Writing
Pupils who succeed in the written examinations will be asked to attend an interview. The interview is designed to assess the potential of the child.
References from the child’s current school will be required.
Entrance exams take place in the January of year 6.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of £60.
