Exam Information

Exam style — School’s own exam.

Exam types:

  • English

  • Maths

Exam length — 1x 40 minute English paper + 1x 30 minute English paper + 1x 40 minute maths paper.

Pass mark —  There is no fixed pass mark for the exam.

Other exam information:

  • Entrance exams include mathematics, essay writing, comprehension and reasoning.

  • The English exam is broken down into 2 papers:

    • Paper 1: Comprehension

    • Paper 2: Writing

  • Pupils who succeed in the written examinations will be asked to attend an interview. The interview is designed to assess the potential of the child.

  • References from the child’s current school will be required.

  • Entrance exams take place in the January of year 6.

  • There is a non-refundable registration fee of £60.
