Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam and CEM Select.
Exam types:
English
Maths
CEM Select (verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and numerical reasoning)
Exam length — 1x 45 minute exam (English) + 2x 1 hour exams (maths and CEM Select).
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass-mark for the admission test. On completion of the test, all candidates will receive an age adjusted and standardized score.
Other exam information:
The online application form must be submitted before sitting the entry assessments along with a non-refundable fee of £100.
Prior Park College will contact the candidate's current school to request a report.
Candidates will be invited into a mandatory interview with the headteacher as part of the assessment process. This is where the final decision and offers will be made.
If there are more applicants than spots available, places will be offered centred around the following criteria:
Academic ability shown in the entry exams.
Additional extracurricular activities and proven talents.
If the child is from a family of Roman Catholics or other Christian faiths.
Whether the candidate has siblings at Prior Park College or affiliate Prior Park Schools.
If the candidate had previous attendance at The Paragon or Prior Park School Gibraltar.
