New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.

Exam Information

Exam style — School’s own exam.

Exam types:

  • English

  • Maths

  • Non-Verbal Reasoning

Exam length — Unknown.

Pass mark —  There is no fixed pass mark for the admissions test. On completion of the tests, all candidates receive an age-standardized score.

Other exam information —

  • Entrance exams will take place in the November and January of year 6.

  • The English exam tests comprehension and writing skills.

  • The maths exam tests problem-solving abilities and general mathematical skills.

  • The Non-Verbal Reasoning exam tests a child’s ability to solve image based problems using logic.

  • The online application form must be submitted before sitting the assessment, along with a £50 non-refundable application fee.

  • A reference from the current school must also be provided.

  • An interview between the candidate and a senior staff member will occur following the entrance exam for borderline candidates.

  • Decision letters are mailed two weeks following the exam completion.
