Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exam.
Other exam information:
The English paper is made up of a comprehension paper and a creative writing paper.
Taster days take place in November for the candidate to have a tour of the school.
Online registration must be filled out online before the November of year 6, along with a £75 registration fee.
The assessment exams take place in late November in year 6.
As part of the assessment process, your child will need to have an interview with a senior staff member between September and November. This can be done online or in person.
References from the child’s current school will be required.
