Before the application of oversubscription criteria, students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) which names the school and who have passed the assessment will be admitted. As a result of this the published admissions number will be reduced accordingly.

Where qualifying applications for admission exceed the number of places available, places will be determined as follows:

  1. Looked after children and all previously looked after children.

  2. Children with a sibling on roll at Skegness Grammar School at the time of application.

  3. Children of staff employed at the school.

  4. Children whose permanent address is within the school’s designated area for free transport with priority being given to the order of their total scores in the entrance tests.

  5. Children from all other areas with priority being given to the order of their total scores in the entrance tests.
