Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam and CEM Select.
Exam types:
Verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning assessment (CEM Select)
Maths
English
Exam length — 45 minutes (maths exam), 60 minutes (English exam).
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exams.
Other exam information:
The assessment application form must be filled out online or by paper and mailed to the school by the end of November in year 6.
An English and maths papers are written by the school. The English paper focuses on writing, comprehension, and technical skills.
The family that are to the Christian, Catholic, Josephite ethos of St. George's are given priority.
Acceptance is based on satisfactory test score on the entrance exam, a positive report from their current school, the family must prove an interest in enrolment and attended an Open Morning, the applicant must have a sibling or family member who attended the school previously, and the candidate must be a pupil of the Junior School.
All applicants will be invited to sit an interview with a senior member of staff.
