Oversubscription policy — Before the application of oversubscription criteria, eligible students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) which names the school and who have passed the assessment will be admitted. As a result of this the published admissions number will be reduced accordingly.

Where qualifying applications for admission exceed the number of places available, places will be determined as follows:

  1. Children in Care or who were in Care but ceased to be in Care because they were adopted or made the subject of a child arrangements order or a special guardianship order.

  2. Children who are eligible for the Pupil Premium.

  3. Other children.

Tiebreaker – to prioritise applications in the same oversubscription criterion, the school uses:

  1.  Straight-line distance from home to school.

  2. Where distances are equal (within a metre) we will use an electronic list randomiser.
