Oversubscription policy - Candidates will only be considered eligible for admission if they pass the 11+ exams.
Where qualifying applications for admission exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:
Looked After Children/Previously Looked After Children who achieve the qualifying score by rank order of standardised score;
Children eligible for the Pupil Premium at the time of the Test who achieve the qualifying score by rank order of standardised score but limited to no more than 25 places.
Other students based on merit order according to the performance of each girl in the 11+ Entrance Test.

Wolverhampton Girls’ High School was founded in 1911. It is an all-girls selective grammar school that specialises in languages. It became an academy in 2014.
In 2009, every girl who sat their GCSE’s gained at least 5 A*–C GCSEs.
