Entry requirements:
You must pay a registration fee in order to sit the entrance exams. This is non-refundable.
Registration form must be completed in order to sit the exams. This can be found on the school’s website.
Students must be in Year 2, applying for year 3 entry to sit the 7+ entrance exams.
7 Plus general exam information:
7+ English exams typically evaluate a child's reading, writing, comprehension, and verbal skills. This usually includes a reading comprehension exercise, sometimes alongside a writing task or questions focusing on spelling, punctuation and grammar. All questions will be taken from the year 2 syllabus, with some extension questions taken from year 3 content which your child will have not yet covered.
7+ maths exams aim to evaluate a child's numerical ability, looking at their understanding of mathematical concepts (such as fractions, multiplication or money), problem-solving skills, and arithmetic proficiency. This usually includes questions on topics such as numbers, measures, geometry, and basic calculations. All content is again taken from the year 2 syllabus, with some extension questions taken from year 3 content.
