Are you a parent or guardian of a Year 6 student soon to embark on their secondary school journey?

Once your child finishes their 11 Plus preparation and has sat their final exam, it’s easy to think it is the end of the tuition road. But with the changes and challenges that secondary school brings, it’s important students’ maintain their competitive edge, ensuring a smooth transition into their new academic environment.

With the global struggles of the past few years, too many students’ educations have taken a hit. Some parents have contacted us, worrying their child is behind in some areas of school life, while others have suggested the primary school curriculum is not covering enough ‘real-world’ skills.

So, with our new initiative, The Exam Coach Academy, we aim to help solve both of these issues.

With our team of super-tutors, we’ll be covering new topics and branching out past the 11+ curriculum to help support your child’s academic growth leading up to Year 7. This will ensure they start secondary school confident and knowledgable, with all the skills they need to succeed.

Our programme will feature regular sessions which your child can attend as and when you wish, looking into skills such as:

• Organisation and time management skills

• Communication skills (online and offline)

• Advanced study and career building skills

Some career related sessions, relevant to the world we live in today will be available, for example:

• Computer programming

• eCommerce and online business

• Personal finance

Furthermore, our new expertly curated newsletter will offer a variety of tools and tips developed specifically to suit the needs of year 6 students. We are confident our tutors and learning materials will empower your child to excel in secondary school and beyond.
