New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.

Exam Information

Exam style — GL Assessment.

Exam types:

  • English

  • Maths

  • Non-Verbal Reasoning

Exam length — 50 minute maths paper + 45 minute English paper + 20 minute non-verbal reasoning paper.

Pass mark —  The pass mark is unknown however there are only 125-150 places available for year 7 each year.

Other exam information:

  • The entrance examinations take place in the January of year 6.

  • All three papers are multiple choice.

  • Candidates are also invited to a small group activity to assess how they interact in a classroom setting.

  • References and reports from the pupil’s current school will be requested.
