The papers we’ve shared below are in similar style to those typically delivered as 11 plus assessments by Scarisbrick Hall School, Lancashire.

New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.
Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam.
Exam types:
English
Mathematics
Science
Exam length — 3x 45-60 minute exams.
Interviews — The applicants will sit a group interview with the headteacher as part of the admissions process.
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exam.
Other exam and entry information:
The assessment exam will be taken in the January of year 6.
The English exam will include comprehension and writing questions.
Applicants will be invited to participate in two taster days as part of the assessment process.
A 3-5 minute presentation assessment will be required from each applicant after they complete the exam. They will be put in groups of 6 other applicants and present on a topic of their choice.
Offers will be sent to successful candidates after the exam has been written, and the acceptance forms must be returned by the closing date specified on the letter, along with the deposit fee of £250.
