New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.

Exam Information

Exam style — School’s own exam and GL Assessment.

Exam types:

  • English (GL)

  • Maths

  • Verbal Reasoning (GL)

Exam lengths:

  • 90 minutes (English)

  • 60 minutes (maths)

  • 45 mins + 15 mins practice (verbal reasoning)

Pass mark —  There is no fixed pass mark for the admissions test.

Other exam information:

  • The English and verbal reasoning papers are created by GL Assessment.

  • The English paper consists of spelling, grammar and punctuation questions, and two comprehension exercises.

  • Your application must be submitted by the end of the November of year 6, along with a non-refundable £125 fee.

  • A full school report from the child’s current school is also required with the application.

  • The entrance exam will be held in the January of Year 6.

  • Upon completing the exam with a satisfactory mark, there will be an interview with a senior staff member.

  • Offer letters are sent out in the February.
