11 Plus Preparation Resources For The Marist School
Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam and GL.
Exam types:
English
Maths
Verbal reasoning
Non-verbal reasoning
Exam length — Unknown.
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the admissions test. On completion of the tests, all candidates receive an age-standardized score.
Other exam information:
The school recommends interested applicants apply two years prior to their child joining year 7.
The English paper examines both comprehension and creative writing skills.
Once registered, the students will be sent a ‘Marist passport’ in which they will be asked to complete an ‘all about me’ project at home.
The applicants will be interviewed in small groups where they will be asked to submit the project they were sent to complete.
The entrance examinations are held in the November of year 6.
