The papers we’ve shared below are in similar style to those typically delivered as 11 plus assessments by Westholme School, Lancashire.
INDEPENDENT ENGLISH PAPER 1
New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.
Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam.
Exam types:
Verbal Reasoning
Non-Verbal Reasoning
English
Exam length — Unknown.
Interviews —The applicant and their parents will sit a private interview with the headmaster as part of the admissions process.
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exam.
Other exam and entry information:
Reasoning tests are taken online and are similar to CEM Select.
The online registration form must be filled out before the deadline and a non-refundable registration fee of £50.
Following the exam, applicants and parents will be required to be invited to sit an interview with the headmaster.
Reference and school reports from the applicant's current school will be required.
Offers will be sent to successful candidates after the exam has been written, and the acceptance forms must be returned by the closing date specified on the letter, along with the deposit fee of £500. £250 of the deposit will be refunded when the pupil leaves the school, and the remaining £250 is a payment toward the first semester.
