Exam Information

Exam style — School’s own exam.

Exam types:

  • Maths

  • English

Exam length — Unknown.

Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the admissions tests.

Other exam and entry information

  • The entrance exams take place in the January of year 6.

  • Exams are designed based on the National Curriculum for the age group.

  • A report from the child’s current school is requested.

Exam Information

Exam style — School’s own exam.

Exam types:

  • English

  • Maths

Exam length — 2x 1 hour exams.

Pass mark —  There is no fixed pass-mark for the admission test. On completion of the test, all candidates will receive an age adjusted and standardized score.

Other exam information:

  • A non-refundable registration fee of £100 will be required.

  • The English paper assesses both writing and comprehension skills.

  • The child’s references and progress reports from their current school will be required to help the school be able to see the child’s academic ability and potential and also all round ability.

  • An interview will be conduced by the school’s headmaster prior to the entrance examinations.

  • The entrance examinations take place in the January of year 6.
