School Summary

Wallington County Grammar School was founded in 1927 and is an all-boys selective grammar school with mixed sixth form. It became an academy in 2011 and specialises in science and applied learning. 

The school is a Leading Edge Partnership School which  working with other schools to raise achievement. It is also a member of the PiXL 6 and the Challenge Partnership programme.

If a child does well in their 11+ pre-test, they will usually be offered a place, contingent on them then passing the common entrance exam at 13+.

  • The tests cover English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning separately.
